Sharjah Airport is enhancing its readiness to receive the peak travel during the winter holiday season

Sharjah, December 28 / WAM / Sharjah Airport has confirmed its full readiness to receive the expected large increase in the number of passengers during the winter holidays, by implementing a series of operational procedures that enhance the flow of movement, improve the quality of services provided, and emphasize the importance of arriving early, three hours before the flight time.

Sharjah Airport called on departing passengers to take advantage of the developed and available services, including using the city check-in service for Air Arabia passengers and dropping off bags before heading to the airport, enabling passengers to go directly to the passport control area upon arrival at the airport.

Sharjah Airport offers a range of services that facilitate the movement of passengers, including self-check-in counters, self-check-in counters located in the departure area, fast track options, smart gates, the “Hala” escort and assistance service, in addition to the new home check-in service for Air Arabia and Fly Wing passengers, which allows all travel procedures to be completed smoothly and go directly to the passport control area upon arrival at the airport.

Sharjah Airport has opened the new hospitality lounge “Hospitality Lounge” at the main entrance to the departures area to provide a higher level of comfort for passengers and meet their requirements. The readiness of work teams in the various areas of the airport has also been increased, to ensure the smooth movement of departing and arriving passengers and speed up operations during the busiest periods.

These measures come within the framework of Sharjah Airport’s ongoing efforts to raise the effectiveness of its operational operations and ensure a smooth travel experience in light of the continued growth in the number of passengers during the winter season.
