Established The local Holy Quran competitionfor boys and girls in the Republic of Montenegro, in the capital, Podgorica.

The competition began on Monday, Rajab 2, 1447 AH, and concluded its activities on Wednesday, Rajab 4, 1447 AH, with a closing ceremony held in the presence of the Grand Mufti, President of the Islamic Chiefdom of the Republic of Montenegro, Sheikh Rifat Visic, the representative of the Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the designated religious attaché, during which… Distributing shields, certificates and rewards to the winners, in addition to taking souvenir photos.

Caring for the Holy Qur’an

More than (47) male and female contestants participated in the competition, and they were filtered to (24) male and female contestants for the final qualifiers, within six branches, three branches for boys and three branches for girls.

The competition branches were as follows: The first branch: memorizing ten parts, and the second branch: memorizing Five parts, and the third section: memorizing two parts.

This competition comes within the efforts of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to serve the Book of God Almighty, encourage its memorizers, and promote Islamic values in Muslim societies, as an extension of the Kingdom’s pioneering role in caring for the Holy Qur’an and spreading its tolerant teachings around the world.
