Abdullah bin Zayed receives a phone call from the US Secretary of State
Abu Dhabi, December 31 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call from His Excellency Marco Rubio, Secretary of State of the United States of America, during which the established strategic relations between the two countries were discussed, in addition to all regional developments.
His Highness discussed with the US Secretary of State a number of files of common interest, including the situation in the Gaza Strip and the recent developments in Yemen.
During the phone call with Rubio, His Highness affirmed the UAE’s firm commitment to working with the friendly United States of America and all its partners, in order to build sustainable peace in the region and establish security and stability for the benefit of its people.
His Highness and His Excellency Marco Rubio also exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the approaching New Year, and His Highness expressed his wishes to His Excellency the US Secretary of State and his family for a happy New Year.
