المملكة: The Islamic Alliance concludes the emergency and disaster management program in Riyadh

Conclude The Islamic Military Coalition to Combat Terrorism, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Civil Defense, program "Emergencies and disasters"which was held at the Civil Defense Institute in Riyadh, with the participation of 23 trainees from 10 member states.
This comes within the coalition’s programs aimed at building capabilities and raising professional readiness in the face of risks and emergencies.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Director of the General Department of Human Resources Development at the General Directorate of Civil Defense, Major General Sami bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Tuwaijri, and Brigadier Saud bin Ashri Al-Ashry, representative of the Islamic Alliance.
This program comes within the framework of the coalition’s efforts to enhance the efficiency of cadres. It aims to provide trainees with the scientific and technical knowledge and skills that enable them to deal with emergencies and disasters, especially accidents related to hazardous materials, which contributes to improving the speed of response and the effectiveness of event management in exceptional circumstances.

Advanced training topics

The two-week program included advanced training topics that focused on the concepts of emergencies and disasters and responding to them, and preparing and implementing the necessary plans to confront them.
In addition to introducing the role of the security leader in media and communication during crises, in addition to Familiarity with the principles of humanitarian law and international cooperation in cases of emergencies and disasters.

The Islamic Coalition stressed that implementing this program in cooperation with relevant authorities reflects its continued commitment to supporting member states through specialized, quality programs that contribute to enhancing integration and joint coordination, and raising the level of institutional readiness to deal with emergency challenges, in line with best professional practices and international standards.

The emergency and disaster management program is one of the specialized training programs provided by the Islamic Coalition, within Its comprehensive system for building and developing capabilities, in a way that enhances the security and stability of member states in the face of various risks and threats.
