Public Malak competitions begin at the Fazza Falconry Championship

DUBAI, 2nd JANUARY / WAM / The General Malak category competitions began today within the Fazza Championship for falconry, Main Talwah, organized by the Fazza Championships Administration at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for the Revival of Heritage at the center’s headquarters in the Lahbab area, amid remarkable Gulf participation in the Shaheen Gear category.

The first day of the competitions witnessed strong competition for the first places, as falconers participated with more than 200 birds in the Jeer Shaheen rounds designated for the General Malak category, which reflected the advanced technical level of the participants and the strength of their preparation for the current season.

The morning start resulted in Rashid Ghanem Al-Hajri winning first place in the symbol race, Farkh Jir Shaheen, with the bird Al-Baraka, with a time of 16.487 seconds. Ahmed Atiq Al-Muhairi came second with the bird S29, with a time of 16.566 seconds, while Saeed bin Mejren Al-Kindi came third with the bird 03, with a time of 16.647 seconds.

In the symbol race, Jirnas Gir Shaheen, Saif Ghanem Al Ali achieved first place with the G80 bird with a time of 16.358 seconds, followed by Saeed Musabah Al-Shadi with the tiger bird with a time of 16.462 seconds, and thirdly Sultan Rashid Al Mansouri with the Nomas bird with a time of 16.574 seconds.

Rashid Hareb Al-Khasouni, Director of the Fazza Championships Department, stressed the center’s keenness to provide an integrated organizational system that contributes to facilitating participation procedures through the “F3” electronic application, in a way that enhances the efficiency of organization and the speed of completing transactions.
