المملكة: Steps to transfer passport information to a resident via the Absher platform

The Absher platform explained the method of transferring the resident’s passport information, through a request submitted to the Passport Department through the platform’s services.
Absher said that the request can be completed through the (Tawasul) service, where the method of accessing the service is as follows:

The Ministry of Interior Agency for Civil Status has identified the correct cases for renewing national ID card photos.
She said "Civil status"The correct conditions are:

• A white background
• A recent photo (taken a maximum of 6 months ago)
• Clear facial features, free of expressions or makeup
• A clear photo without any ink stains or holes
• Taking the photo straight, avoiding red eyes resulting from camera reflection

Change of name

Civil Status announced About the first name change service via the Absher platform, which enables the citizen to change the first name for himself or a family member for those under (18) years According to the conditions.

Expected duration for implementing the service and fees

The service is immediate for the name identified in the name lists in Registration of names with civil status.

It must not be similar to the name of a living first-degree family member.

The consent of the parents must be obtained when changing the name of a child for those under (18) years of age, unless one of them is deceased.

The beneficiary must not have a request to amend one of the name fields under processing.
