Gold prices close lower at the end of the first trading of 2026

With regard to other precious metals, silver rose in spot transactions by (2.1%) to reach (72.75) dollars, platinum increased by (0.2%) recording (2057.74) dollars, and palladium rose by (2.4%) to reach (1642.90) dollars.
