المملكة: Through a mandatory reference…the Saudi Health Ministry sets the standards for organ donation in the Kingdom

This regulatory decision is based on Article Fourteen of the Human Organ Donation System issued by Royal Decree No. “M/70” dated 19 Shaaban 1442 AH and its executive regulations, which gives the guide legal force. Binding on all practitioners and facilities.

The directives obligated all health facilities to fully adhere to the contents of the guide and implement the precise procedures and policies contained therein, to ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with the highest medical and ethical standards approved in the Kingdom.
