المملكة: Urgent: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince direct the intensification of air, sea and land bridges to provide relief to the Palestinian people in Gaza.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – directed the intensification of air, sea and land relief bridges; In response to the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, through the Saudi Popular Campaign to Relief the Palestinian People in the Strip.
His Excellency the General Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, confirmed in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency that the generous directive comes as a continuation of the humanitarian efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards the relief of those affected in the Gaza Strip through the Saudi Popular Campaign, and an extension of its well-known historic role of standing with the brotherly Palestinian people in the various crises and tribulations they are going through. Emphasizing that Palestine will remain firmly rooted in the conscience of the Kingdom’s leadership and people.
Al-Rabiah expressed thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince – may God protect them – for this generous humanitarian gesture, pointing out that the Kingdom’s constant giving is considered one of the authentic values of the Saudi people, and a firm approach whose giving has never ceased, and these are noble positions that are present in various circumstances.
It is mentioned that the Kingdom, through the King Salman Business and Relief Center, Humanity has conducted an air bridge and another sea bridge to relieve the brotherly Palestinian people, from which (77) planes and (8) ships have arrived so far carrying more than (7,699) tons of food, medical and shelter supplies, in addition to the arrival of (912) Saudi relief trucks to the Gaza Strip carrying on board quantities of food aid, shelter supplies, medical materials, devices and equipment. (20) ambulances were also delivered to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. In addition, the Center signed agreements. With international organizations to implement relief projects within the Strip worth (90) million and (350) thousand dollars, in addition to implementing air drops in partnership with Jordan to overcome the closure of the crossings and secure the arrival of aid.
