المملكة: In pictures: Saudi Arabia is establishing a new camp to shelter families returning to Gaza
In a humanitarian response that embodies the needs of the people of the is designated to shelter families returning from their forced displacement in the center and south of the Gaza Strip.

Saudi support for Gaza
The establishment of the camp comes in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, one of the most damaged neighborhoods in Gaza City, where the people returned to their destroyed areas without housing. Suitable for housing or basic infrastructure, which made providing safe shelter an urgent humanitarian priority that cannot be postponed.
The Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage – the implementing partner of the King Salman Relief Center in the Gaza Strip – assumed field supervision of the implementation of the camp, in addition to distributing food baskets to families to support them in the first stage of return, and to support stability efforts in light of the difficult living conditions.
The importance of this is highlighted. The intervention is not limited to shelter only, but contributes to enabling families to remain in their original locations, and enhances their ability to withstand despite the extent of the destruction, in a way that preserves their dignity and alleviates the suffering of displacement.
Saudi humanitarian efforts in Gaza
The beneficiary families expressed their thanks and gratitude to the leadership and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the various relief aid it provided through the King Salman Relief Center that returned them to Feeling safe after the suffering of displacement.
They stressed that this humanitarian intervention not only alleviated their suffering, but also gave them the ability to recover.
These efforts fall within a series of integrated humanitarian interventions implemented by the King Salman Relief Center in the Gaza Strip, and within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s constant endeavor to stand by the brotherly Palestinian people during various crises and tribulations.
