OCHA warns of the increasing risk of disease spreading in the Gaza Strip camps

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) warned of the increasing risk of disease spreading in crowded displacement camps in the Gaza Strip, noting that the deterioration of living conditions in displacement camps leads to exacerbation of health risks.

OCHA stated in a statement that partners in the humanitarian field reported the spread of skin diseases among residents in hundreds of camps, in addition to a widespread spread of rodents and pests, noting that partners are working to combat pests and improve health conditions, but they face difficulties due to limited supplies and difficulty of access.
