The Head of State and the Turkish President discuss by phone the relations of the two countries and regional developments

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Turkish Republic, during which they discussed bilateral relations and joint work to strengthen them in various fields that serve the development priorities and common interests of the two countries.
During the call, the two sides also discussed a number of regional and international issues and developments, most notably the efforts made to address the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, stressing the necessity of maintaining the ceasefire in the Strip and continuing the flow of humanitarian relief aid in sufficient quantities and without obstacles to alleviate the suffering experienced by its residents.
The two sides stressed the importance of pushing steadily towards the path of permanent and just peace based on the “two-state solution” as it is the way to achieve stability and security in the region and build a better future for all its peoples.
His Highness and the Turkish President also exchanged views on developments in the region and a number of issues of common interest and the efforts made towards them.
