المملكة: The Speaker of the Shura Council receives the Governor of the Digital Government Authority

He received the President of The role of the Council in discussing and studying regulations and policies related to enhancing digital transformation performance and following up on topics and reports referred to it related to developing government performance and enhancing its efficiency, in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

For his part, the Governor of the Digital Government Authority praised the important role played by The Shura Council regarding strengthening possible legislation for digital transformation, stressing that this support contributed to the Kingdom achieving outstanding successes at the international level in the field of Internet governance, and raising the digital services performance index.

The reception witnessed the discussion of a number of topics of common interest, a review of aspects related to digital transformation efforts, and the associated legislation and regulations that contribute to supporting the development of digital government services, and a review of the accelerated development that the Kingdom is witnessing in digital services that come as an extension of the objectives of the Kingdom’s vision. 2030, which established a comprehensive digital transformation that consolidated the Kingdom’s deserved position globally.
