Headed by Mansour bin Zayed, the Ministerial Council for Development reviews developments in the implementation of government programs and projects

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Cabinet, chaired the meeting of the Ministerial Council for Development, which was held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, during which the results of the implementation of government programs and projects were reviewed, and the initiatives and legislation presented to the Council were discussed.

The meeting’s agenda included discussing the initiatives proposed by ministries and federal agencies in various development sectors, including: education, health care, the tourism sector, preserving the country’s cultural heritage, and other fields.

Regarding government affairs, the Ministerial Council reviewed developments in the progress of work in federal policies related to government housing and public finance, and also approved the issuance of Cabinet decisions regarding human resources and Emiratisation services, consumer goods, the tax system, and a number of other business sectors.
