Launch 63 seabirds in , within its natural distribution range after its rehabilitation, as an extension of his efforts to preserve and enhancing the sustainability of coastal ecosystems.
The release included 34 gulls "I head" Large, 25 gulls "I head"along with one waterfowl, a heron, and two Abedini storks, which were launched so that they could perform their environmental roles and support environmental balance.
National Environment Strategy
The CEO of the Center, Dr. Muhammad Ali Qorban, explained that the release of these birds comes after their rehabilitation according to approved scientific practices, within the framework of the Center’s objectives aimed at sustaining wildlife, preserving ecosystems, and enriching biodiversity.
He indicated that this step contributes to the implementation of international commitments and efforts related to the preservation of wildlife species, supporting the national environmental strategy, and achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Since its establishment, the center has been working to develop and implement integrated plans to deal with the challenges facing wildlife, maintain the balance of ecosystems, and return endangered species to their natural habitats, in addition to implementing research programs and monitoring biodiversity using modern technologies.
