Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority implements awareness workshops
ABU DHABI, 8 JANUARY / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority is implementing a series of awareness and training workshops in a number of government and private agencies as part of the “Winter Safety” campaign, with the aim of raising the level of awareness of fire and injury prevention, and enhancing the readiness of workers to properly deal with emergency incidents, which contributes to protecting lives and property and establishing a culture of safety in various work environments.
The workshops address various aspects of prevention and safety procedures, such as introducing the types of fire extinguishers and ways to use them correctly, training on safe evacuation operations, in addition to providing practical guidance on first aid for dealing with common injuries, in addition to the role of safety mentors in promoting a safe work environment and ensuring the application of prevention standards in facilities.
