"YouTube" Keynote sessions and workshops are organized during the fourth edition of the One Billion Followers Summit

Dubai, 9 January / WAM / During the fourth edition of the One Billion Followers Summit, the largest global summit in the content industry economy, the YouTube platform is hosting a distinguished group of keynote and discussion sessions, workshops and dialogues designed to enhance the skills of content makers at various stages of their journey, in confirmation of the platform’s commitment to developing the content industry system globally.

The events are expected to attract a large number of attendees to the One Billion Followers Summit 2026, which is organized by the UAE Government Media Office and hosted by the UAE during the period from January 9 to 11 at the Emirates Towers, the Dubai International Financial Center, and the Museum of the Future in Dubai, under the slogan “Purposeful Content,” with the participation of more than 15,000 content creators and influencers and more than 500 speakers followed by 3.5 billion followers.

Tariq Amin, Regional Director for YouTube in the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, said: We are proud of our presence with the One Billion Followers Summit since its launch, and our participation this year through YouTube House is distinguished from our previous participations by hosting a wide range of events and workshops designed to support content creators through all stages of their journey. We will also host a series of dialogues with experts in which Pedro Pena, Vice President of Europe, the Middle East and Europe at YouTube, will participate, in addition to a number of senior executives and inspiring content creators.

YouTube executives participate in the key sessions, during which they provide an in-depth look at the platform’s strategy and future directions.

On the first day of the summit, Pedro Peña, Vice President of Europe, the Middle East and Africa at YouTube, discusses the platform’s current and future plans to support the content economy. This session will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Javed Aslanov, Head of YouTube in the Middle East and North Africa, where he highlights opportunities to collaborate with brands through YouTube.

On the third day of the summit’s activities, Tariq Amin will join a dialogue session with the participation of the famous Yes Theory channel on YouTube, which addresses topics of adventures, mental health, and social connections. The session discusses the importance of building a strong community through the platform.

The YouTube House space hosts a series of sessions and dialogues with content creators with the aim of sharing experiences and success stories. As part of activities that highlight the practical aspect of building a successful career path, an inspiring interactive dialogue entitled “The Path to Success” will be hosted by the famous Emirati content creator and influencer, Khaled Al Ameri.

A discussion session entitled “Building a Brand with Community Support” will also explore the role of digital communities in achieving success, featuring Chewkz and Yahya Al-Hayhi, and moderated by Khalouk Al-Yassin, Community Partnerships Manager for the YouTube Shorts platform.

YouTube events also include sessions that highlight the significant qualitative impact of artificial intelligence on content creation. The most prominent of these events is a forward-looking discussion session entitled “Breaking Traditional Molds: The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Content Creation,” in which Hashem Al-Ghaili, the internationally known scientific content maker and director, who is famous for simplifying complex scientific concepts, participates.

Amin Khalil, Partner Engineer at YouTube for the Middle East and North Africa, will present an interactive workshop entitled “Artificial Intelligence and the Efficiency of Content Creation Tools on YouTube,” during which he provides practical guidance on using the platform’s latest features to raise the performance of content creators’ channels to new levels.

Content creators will have the opportunity to learn how to transform their passion into a sustainable career path through a group of events, including a discussion session entitled “The value that YouTube provides in the world of commercial partnerships,” in which Omar Abu Al-Rub, a Jordanian content creator known for his attractive style of visual narration and his distinctive cultural outlook, will participate. During the session, Abu Al-Rub will review real-life examples of successful partnerships with brands.

In addition to these sessions, a “Gemini Lab” space will be allocated to receive summit participants and showcase the benefits of artificial intelligence models and tools developed by Google for content creators. All summit attendees can visit this space to learn more about Google’s latest artificial intelligence solutions.
