المملكة: Yemen demands that the UAE allow Faraj Al-Bahsani to leave its territory for Saudi Arabia

The Republic of Yemen officially called on the UAE to allow Faraj al-Bahsani, a member of the Leadership Council, to leave its lands towards the Kingdom.
The text of a statement issued by an official source in the Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Yemen stated: The Secretariat of the Presidential Leadership Council recorded, during the past weeks, an almost complete cessation of communication with the member of the Council, Faraj Salmeen al-Bahsani, and his continued absence from performing his constitutional duties without mentioning the reasons, despite repeated contact with him at a time when the state was engaged in efforts to Intensive efforts to contain a dangerous escalation in the governorates of Hadramaut and Al-Mahra, protect civilians, and maintain civil peace in the country.
The statement continued: “We noticed, through his tweets on his account on the (X) platform, language encouraging escalation in the two governorates outside the scope of the state. He also showed conflicting positions regarding inviting brothers in the Kingdom to come to Riyadh for the purpose of consultation, as he initially expressed his agreement to answer the invitation in the middle of last December, but he did not attend, making good use of it. By preventing him from boarding the plane, then he blessed the steps proposed by the Kingdom by calling for a conference on the southern issue, then he disappeared and it has been impossible to contact him until now."
The source added that the presidency dealt with this situation with the utmost wisdom, and gave sufficient time to give priority to responsible treatment and avoid any steps that might be interpreted as being outside its institutional context. However, the continued absence, support for unilateral measures outside the framework of the state, and disruption of council meetings, has become a worrying situation, and its continuation cannot be accepted.
Presidential Leadership Council
The source confirmed, Membership in the Presidential Leadership Council is a supreme constitutional responsibility, based on strict adherence to the declaration of the transfer of power and the rules regulating the work of the Council. It cannot be reduced to political or geographical representation, nor may it be disrupted or suspended due to individual positions or calculations outside the framework of the state. In order to address the situation in the country, in a way that removes any ambiguity or confusion that exists.
The source stressed that the presidency of the Presidential Leadership Council is still keen to give priority to institutional solutions, based on its awareness of the sensitivity of the stage, and its concern for unity of ranks, and the sovereign decision.
The source stressed that the state continues to consolidate the prestige of its institutions and prevent any disruption to its work, and that the current stage requires Clearly, and fully committed to the ruling references for the transitional phase, in a way that ensures unity of ranks and mobilizes all energies for the battle to restore state institutions and end the human suffering caused by the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime.
