She explained that the design process began last May and the prototyping stage took six weeks, while the manufacture of each shield requires about seventy hours of manual work inside the company’s factory in Geneva.

She explained that the awards are plated with 18-karat gold, and feature eyes hand-carved from small black opal with a delicate yellow iris, while the falcon base is made of polished brass with a finish that mimics the shine of Diamonds.

It is noteworthy that the prestigious Chopard brand, which has a history of more than 160 years, participates for the second year in a row in the festival that the world awaits in January of each year.
