Commercial exchanges in the Kingdom exceed 184 billion riyals in October 2025

Record the total size of The Kingdom’s international trade reached its second highest level during the year (2025 AD), reaching about (184.1) billion riyals in October (2025 AD), achieving an annual growth of (8.4%), and an increase of more than (14) billion riyals, compared to a total amounting to (169.8) billion riyals for the same period of the year (2024 AD).
The data of the international merchandise trade report for the month of October (2025 AD) showed, Issued by General Authority for Statistics, that merchandise exports constituted (56.5%) of the total Commercial exchanges amounted to (103.9) billion riyals, recording their highest levels during the current year, while imports reached (80.1) billion riyals, representing (43.5%) of the total.
The highest peak
The data indicated that the highest peak in the levels of trade exchanges during the year 2025 was recorded in the month of July, with a value exceeding (185) billion riyals.
The statistics showed that The Kingdom’s trade balance achieved a surplus of (23.9) billion riyals during the month of October (2025), achieving annual growth of (47.4%), an increase of more than (7) billion riyals, compared to a surplus of (16.2) billion riyals for the same period last year.
National non-oil exports (excluding re-exports) recorded about (20.1) billion riyals, representing (19.3%) of total exports. Commodities, achieving an annual growth of (2.4%), with an increase value of (462.3) million riyals, compared to (19.6) billion riyals during the same period of the year (2024). A remarkable annual rate of (130.7%), with an increase amounting to (7.8) billion riyals, bringing its total value to about (13.8) billion riyals, representing (13.2%) of total merchandise exports, compared to (5.9) billion riyals for the same period of the previous year.
At the level of groups of countries exporting to, the group of Asian countries came in the lead with a rate of (73.1%), with a value of (76.1) billion riyals, followed by the group of European countries. By (12.2%), with (12.7) billion riyals, then the group of African countries by (7.4%), with a value of (7.7) billion riyals, and fourthly the group of American countries with a percentage of (7.1%), with (7.4) billion riyals.
Trade partners
At the level of trade partners, China maintained the lead in countries importing the Kingdom’s exports by (14.1%), with a value of (14.7) billion. Riyals, followed by the UAE by (10.9%), with (11.4) billion riyals, then India by (9.9%), with a value of (10.3) billion riyals.
With regard to non-petroleum exports (including re-exports), they crossed through (31) land, sea and air customs ports, with a total value amounting to (33.9) billion riyals, topped by King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, with a value of (4.6) billion riyals. Billion riyals, followed by Jeddah Islamic Port with a value of (3.8) billion riyals.
