The cargo of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s ship arrives in the Gaza Strip and begins distributing it to the population

GAZA, 13 JANUARY / WAM / All shipments of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid humanitarian ship, which was carrying more than 7,300 tons of various relief aid, arrived in the Gaza Strip, and will be distributed in various regions of the Strip, in support of its residents and assisting them in facing difficult humanitarian conditions.
The ship represents a new message of solidarity from the UAE with the people of Gaza, embodying its firm commitment to extending a helping hand to our Palestinian brothers, enabling them to meet their basic needs, overcoming the difficult circumstances in which they are living, and providing the conditions necessary to restore their normal lives.
The number of beneficiaries of the ship’s aid since its arrival has reached about 40,000 families, as distribution operations continue successively as the rest of the convoys and trucks enter the Strip through several organized relief convoys, covering camps, shelter centers and all families in various regions of the Gaza Strip.
The ship’s cargo includes basic food aid to meet the urgent needs in Gaza, including 10 million meals provided by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, as part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to enhance food security and support the residents of the Gaza Strip.
The aid also includes food supplies, winter clothes, tents, and shelter supplies, in addition to nutritional supplements for children and women, in response to the worsening humanitarian needs in the Strip.
The ship had set off from Khalifa Port (Kizad) as part of Operation “The Gallant Knight 3”, as part of the UAE’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people and alleviate the suffering of civilians in the Gaza Strip.
