Dora appears in the series “Ali Clay” as “Mayada,” the wife of “Ali Clay,” played by the star Ahmed Al-Awadi. She is a girl from a popular area, and she forms a major focus of conflict as he confronts his rivals and enemies in the series.
In terms of cinema, Dorra is participating alongside the star Yousra in the movie “The Lady for What”, which is scheduled to be shown during the Eid al-Fitr film season, mid-next March.
Dora holds a degree in in-depth studies in political science from Tunis. She entered the field of art after joining the “Teatro Troupe” and participated for the first time in the play “Majnoun” by director Tawfiq Al-Jabali. She played several roles in cinema and drama in her country, Tunisia, but her real breakthrough began in Cairo in 2007, when she was chosen by the prominent Jordanian director Hussein Daibes. After her constant brilliance and distinction, and establishing her name as one of the most important Arab stars, Dora won the Best Arab Actress award in 2012, only to return six years later and win the same title in 2018.
Not far from acting, Dora achieved great success in her first directorial experience, as the film “Where Did We Rise,” directed and produced by her, participated in the Cairo Film Festival, and the film also won the Special Jury Award, within the activities of the fifth session of the Egyptian-American Film and Arts Festival.
