Abdullah bin Zayed receives the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation in South Africa

ABU DHABI, 13 JANUARY / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received His Excellency Ronald Lamola, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, on the sidelines of his participation as part of his country’s delegation in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
His Highness and His Excellency Ronald Lamola discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them to serve their mutual interests.
The two sides also reviewed the opportunities available to develop bilateral cooperation paths in a number of sectors, including economic, trade and investment.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed His Excellency Ronald Lamola, stressing the depth of the friendly relations between the two countries.
His Highness also indicated his keenness to invest in available opportunities to advance the prospects for joint cooperation in various sectors, in a way that supports the two countries’ plans to achieve comprehensive development and sustainable economic prosperity.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Ronald Lamola discussed all regional and international issues of common interest, and exchanged views on them.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State.
