"Hamdan Heritage" Participates in a meeting of Gulf documents bodies and centers

Doha, January 14 / WAM / The Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for Heritage Revival participated in the 38th session of the meeting of the General Secretariat of Documentation Bodies and Centers in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which was hosted by the Qatari capital, Doha.
The Center’s participation emphasized its vital role in preserving historical documents and protecting national heritage.
Fatima Saif bin Hariz, Director of the Research and Studies Department at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for Heritage Revival, said that the Center’s participation stems from its deep belief in the importance of joint Gulf action in preserving documents and preserving national memory, considering the document an essential pillar in building identity and protecting history from extinction, stressing that these meetings represent an effective platform for exchanging experiences, unifying visions, and enhancing institutional integration.
She added that the Center continues to play an active and pioneering role through its research and documentation initiatives, most notably the projects of collecting documents, manuscripts and oral narratives and archiving them according to advanced scientific and technical standards to ensure their preservation and availability for researchers and future generations.
