The Head of State discusses with the Serbian President various aspects of cooperation and joint work between the two countries

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, discussed various aspects of cooperation and joint work between the two countries and their development opportunities, especially in the economic, investment and development fields, renewable energy, sustainability, and other vital sectors that enhance development and prosperity in the two countries, within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership that brings together the UAE and Serbia.

This came during His Highness’s meeting at the Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi, with Aleksandar Vucic, who is on a working visit to the country during which he participates in the “Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week”, whose activities began yesterday.

The meeting discussed the importance of the topics presented by Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, which is a global platform for dialogue and enhancing international cooperation in order to find effective and sustainable solutions to common global challenges and accelerate development to build a better future for humanity.

At the conclusion of their meeting, the two sides stressed their mutual keenness to continue working on developing the prospects for UAE-Serbian relations and building sustainable economic partnerships that serve development priorities and their endeavor to achieve the goals of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement in strengthening and diversifying the national economy of the two countries.

The Serbian President, accompanied by His Highness the President of the State, toured the Zayed Museum and viewed a number of its exhibits and collectibles that document the career of the late founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and embody the human and civilizational values ​​on which the UAE was founded and the importance of the museum’s role in supporting the cultural and knowledge process in the country and enhancing communication between the past and the present.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and a number of ministers and senior state officials.
