ABU DHABI, 15 JANUARY / WAM / Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners today announced its commitment to invest in the latest major private equity fund launched by Bain Capital.
Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners is a joint venture between Mubadala Capital and Alpha Wave Global, aiming to support the growth and development of the Abu Dhabi Global Market.
Bain Capital, which was founded in 1984, has a proven track record of achievements and successes over 40 years as one of the leading companies in the field of private institutional investment and manages assets worth more than $205 billion across multiple asset classes and geographic regions.
The company invests in four main sectors: healthcare, industrials, technology, financial services and business services, with a focus on achieving operational improvements that contribute to fundamental transformations.
Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners’ investment reflects its strategy of supporting distinguished global asset managers with exceptional performance records.
This partnership supports Bain Capital’s broader strategy in the Middle East, which includes capital formation, expanding portfolio companies across multiple sectors such as infrastructure, healthcare and technology, in addition to evaluating selective co-investment opportunities in the region.
