"Dubai Electricity and Water" Organizing partner of the Dubai International Project Management Forum for the years 2027-2029

DUBAI, 15 JANUARY / WAM / The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, under which the latter will be an organizing partner for the Dubai International Project Management Forum for the years 2027-2029, in a step that confirms the strength of the strategic partnership and their joint keenness to support one of the most important intellectual and knowledge platforms that contribute to consolidating Dubai’s position as a global capital for project management and sustainable development.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Roads and Transport Authority by His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority, and on behalf of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority by His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO, according to which the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority will be an organizing partner of the forum in its twelfth, thirteenth and fourteenth sessions.

The signing of the memorandum comes as a continuation of the great successes achieved by the Forum during its previous sessions, as it attracted more than 17,000 participants from about 50 countries, and witnessed the organization of more than 400 key sessions, workshops, field visits, and specialized courses, which established its position as a leading global platform for exchanging knowledge and building capabilities in the field of project management.

His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer stressed the importance of continuing the partnership with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority in organizing the forum, noting that the partnership represents a strategic dimension in the course of the forum, which is an international platform for exchanging experiences and formulating future directions in implementing major projects and confirms the belief of both sides in the importance of building an advanced knowledge system for project management that supports Dubai’s vision of global leadership.

For his part, His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer stressed that DEWA’s participation as an organizing partner for the forum comes within the framework of DEWA’s commitment to supporting innovation and employing artificial intelligence technologies in the fields of project management, energy and sustainable infrastructure, because of its pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of planning and implementation and achieving the best use of resources in accordance with the highest international standards.
