"03" hero "Symbol" In the President’s Cup for Falconry

ABU DHABI, 15 JANUARY / WAM / The competitions for the 13th edition of the President’s Cup for Falconry continued today on its sixth day, organized by the Abu Dhabi Falconers Club, and will continue until January 27 in Al Falah Square in Abu Dhabi.

The falcon “03”, owned by Saeed Ahmed bin Sheikh Mejren Al Kindi, won first place in the symbol race for the public, Malak – Jire Shaheen. Second place was won by the falcon “Sarmad”, owned by Hamad Ahmed bin Mejren, and the falcon “027”, by Ghadeer Mohammed Ghadeer Saeed Al Mansouri, came third.

The first-half competitions for the general category, Malak – Gear Shaheen Farkh, resulted in the Falcon “1” by Khaled Juma Khadem Suhail Al Hameli winning first place, the Falcon “54” came in second place, by Abdullah Rashid Ahmed Al Mana Al Mansouri, and the Falcon “B20” came in third place, owned by Saeed Muhammad Yamhour Al Habsi.

The Falcon “S89”, by Ahmed Muhammad Saeed Al Kindi, topped the second half of the general category – Gear Shaheen Farkh, and came second in the Falcon “25”, by Khalifa Sultan Salem Al Hafri, and third was the Falcon “2”, by Khaled Juma Khadem Suhail Al Hameli.

The falcon “Nomas”, owned by Sultan Rashid Nasser Rashid Al Mansouri, shined in the general category, Malak Gir Shaheen – Jernas, achieving first place, and second came the falcon “77”, owned by Mohammed Saif Ghanem Al Ali, and third was the falcon “Gold”, owned by Sultan Rashid Nasser Rashid Al Mansouri.

The falcon “J92”, owned by Mohammed Saif Ghanem Al Ali, prevailed, achieving the lead in the second half of the general category, Malak Jir Shaheen – Jernas. The falcon “S” came second, by Abdullah Nasser Salem Saqr Al Mansouri, and third was the falcon “Hatan”, owned by Marwan Musabeh Obaid bin Shannah Al Ketbi.

On a related note, the Abu Dhabi Falconers Club received students from the Falconry School in Abu Dhabi, coinciding with the tournament’s activities, who followed part of its competitions and were briefed on the club’s various facilities and its efforts to enhance national heritage and identity, protect Emirati heritage, and advance the sport of falconry through strategic plans and pioneering initiatives.
