World Food: 55 million people are at risk of hunger in West and Central Africa


Warn The World Food Program warns that cuts in humanitarian funding could leave 55 million people in western and central regions Africais reaching crisis levels of hunger during the food scarcity season of 2026, with more than 13 million children suffering from malnutrition.

The program confirmed its urgent need for $453 million within six months, to continue providing life-saving aid in the region.
