Abu Dhabi is the safest city in the world for the 10th year in a row

Abu Dhabi, January 17, 2017 – Abu Dhabi renewed its global achievement by topping the list of the safest cities in the world for the tenth year in a row since 2017, according to an international report issued by Numbeo, one of the most prominent global statistics platforms specialized in indicators of security, quality of life, and cost of living.

This successive classification confirms Abu Dhabi’s global leadership in establishing a system of security, stability and quality of life, and highlights its status as a global destination for living, working and investing.

His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaytoun Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, said that this achievement comes as a result of a wise leadership vision and continuous support from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and integrated institutional work, and sincere efforts made by Abu Dhabi Police personnel around the clock, supported by advanced proactive strategies, smart use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence, and a conscious community partnership that constitutes the first line of defense for security.
