“Al-Sharq Pipe”: Construction of a new line in the Dammam plant worth 78.5 million riyals
Last Thursday, the Board of Directors of the East Integrated Pipe Company for Industry approved the establishment of a new line for external steel pipe packaging at the company’s pipe packaging plant in the Second Industrial City in Dammam.
The company said in a statement on its website "Saudi Arabia trading"Construction of the project will begin in February 2026, while the cost of the project is about 78.5 million riyals.
She noted that the project will be financed from the cash available in the company and from bank facilities and other financing programs.
She explained that the expected date for completion of construction of the project: the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027 – 2028.
She expected that the project will have an impact on the company’s financial results for the year 2027 – 2028, while the expected start of the project’s impact on the company’s financial statements is expected to be: the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027-2028.
She pointed out that the expected date for the start of pilot production of the project: the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027-2028.
She stated that the duration of the pilot production of the project: one month, while the expected date of commercial production of the project: the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027-2028.
It reported that contracts had been concluded with several parties to supply machinery and equipment.
This expansion aims to double the current nominal production capacity of the factory from about 4 million square meters to 8 million square meters annually, enabling the company to meet the increasing demand in the market and enhance its competitive position.
