In an exceptional regulatory step, the Ministry of Education approved an early date for the Eid al-Adha holiday in the administrations of Mecca, Medina, Jeddah, and Taif, taking into account the specificity of the Hajj, Umrah, and visiting seasons in these regions.
This timeline aims to achieve integration. It fully cooperates with the government agencies involved in organizing the Hajj season, ensuring the smooth flow of logistical operations and activating community work related to serving the guests of God in the holy cities and ports.
With regard to scheduling, several educational districts have approved several work schedules for the holy month of Ramadan in advance, as part of the “summer and winter calendar” plan to inform students and their families of the start and end dates during the holy month.
