218 billion riyals…assets of public investment funds in Saudi Arabia


The value of the assets of domestic and foreign public investment funds is recorded in The Saudi Stock Market annual growth of (36.1%), with an increase estimated at (57.9) billion riyals by the end of the third quarter of the year (2025), reaching about (217.9) billion riyals, compared to (160.1) billion riyals for the same period in the year (2024).

The value of assets achieved a quarterly growth of (5.7%), with an increase estimated at (11.7) billion. riyals, compared to (206.2) billion riyals at the end of the second quarter of this year, according to the data of the quarterly statistical bulletin of the Capital Market Authority for the third quarter of the year (2025).

Public investment funds

The number of subscribers to Public investment funds(1,593,663) subscribers, achieving an annual growth of (1.5%), an increase of more than (23) thousand subscribers, compared to (1,570,452) subscribers at the end of the same period last year.

This growth was supported by an increase in Local investment assets, which recorded an annual growth of (39%), with an increase estimated at (52.4) billion riyals, bringing their total to about (186.9) billion riyals, representing (86%) of the total value of assets, compared to (134.4) billion riyals for the same period last year.

Foreign assets

Foreign investment assets recorded an annual growth of (21.1%), An increase exceeding (5) billion riyals, to reach (31.1) billion riyals, representing (14.3%) of the total value of assets, compared to (25.7) billion riyals for the same period last year.

The number of public investment funds grew on an annual basis by (11.6%), with an increase of (36) investment funds, bringing a total of (346) funds, compared to (310) funds for the similar period of the year. The assets of public investment funds

The assets of public investment funds were distributed by type of investment into (12) investment types, topped by the assets of local money market deals, with a value of (75.6) billion riyals, representing (34.7%) of the total assets, followed by the assets of local stocks, with a value of (46.6) billion riyals, with a percentage of (21.4%).

The assets of real estate investment funds came in third place, with a value of (28.9) billion. Riyals, at a rate of (13.3%), while fourth came the assets of funds in other local investments, valued at (19.6) billion riyals, at a rate of approximately (9%) of the total assets.
