Sharjah Sports Council crowns the winners of the Hisn Al Dhaid running race

Sharjah, January 18 / WAM / The Sharjah Sports Council crowned the winners of the Al Dhaid Fort Running Race, which was held yesterday in the city of Al Dhaid, marking the launch of the Council’s community sporting activities for the current year, amid wide participation from various age groups.

The results of the 12 km race for the nationals category resulted in Ali Al Yamahi winning first place, Hamid Al Nuaimi second, and Ahmed Al Morshedi third, while Amal Al Shehhi won first place in the nationals category, followed by Maryam Al Balushi in second place.

In the men’s open category, Joseph King came first, Yoann Desriac came second, and Vincent Mihot third, while Minnie Mituku came first in the women’s category, followed by Fidelia Masungu, then Radmila Bakic.

In the 6-kilometer race for the nationals category, Khaled Al-Abdouli won first place, followed by Fahd Mubarak, then Abdullah Ali, while Khadija Al-Naqbi won first place for the nationals category, and Fatima Al-Muhairi came second.

In the men’s open category, GM Macharia came first, Mohammed O. Kaltoum second, and Jassim Saeed third, while Nadezhda Khaurulina won first place in the women’s category, followed by Emily Mykola, then Aranya Tissala.

In the 3-kilometer race for the nationals category, Obaid Barman won first place, followed by Thani Al-Falasi, then Issa Hinnawi, while the filly Badr won first place in the nationals category, followed by Noura Dalmouk, then Alia Al-Zarouni.

In the men’s open category, Abdulaziz Nasr came first, Musa Ojil second, and Ayman Labhouri third, while Noha Al-Soussi came first in the women’s category, followed by Diaa Harini, then Rachel D’Souza.

In the one-kilometre “junior” race, Kirstian Shukanov won first place in the boys’ category, followed by Saif Al-Sharqi, then Suhail Ahmed, while Shouq Ahmed won first place in the girls’ category, followed by Ibtisam Al-Shehhi, then Alil Khairulina.
