193 million dirhams in support "Fujairah Charity" For humanitarian work within 3 years
Fujairah, January 21 / WAM / The Fujairah Charitable Society continued its efforts in supporting humanitarian and development work, achieving qualitative achievements during the years from 2023 to 2025, through the implementation of charitable projects and community initiatives that contributed to improving the quality of life of thousands of families.
His Excellency Saeed Al Raqbani, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, revealed that the Association provided total aid during the period from 2023 to 2025 amounting to 193,344,174 dirhams, which included financial, food, educational, and health assistance, in addition to sustainable projects targeting needy and needy families, orphans, the sick, senior citizens, people with limited income, and people of determination.
One of the most prominent projects that the association has continued to implement during these years is the Preservation of Grace project, which is considered one of the pioneering initiatives in reducing food waste and benefited 1,245,467 people through meals distributed in 45 locations in the Emirate of Fujairah, which included the allocation of 161 refrigerators and special refrigerators for preserving food in accordance with its health requirements.
The association pays special attention to orphans and people of determination, in cooperation with sponsors, and the total number of those sponsored has reached 8,994 orphans.
Al-Raqbani emphasized the association’s mission aimed at investing in people and advancing them by helping our male and female students by providing financial support, training courses, and computers, from which 11,256 students at various academic and university levels benefited during the years from 2023 to 2025.
Al-Raqbani added that productive citizen families registered with the association participate annually in the Iftar project, which is implemented by the association with the aim of integrating them into community activities.
In response to the wise leadership’s call to extend a helping hand to those affected by wars and disasters in Lebanon, Afghanistan and Gaza, the association provided relief aid worth 16,969,303 dirhams during the years from 2023 to 2025.
