المملكة: Rabi’ al-Akhir 15.. the deadline for correcting the conditions of vacant lands

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing called on the owners of vacant lands in all regions of the Kingdom to take the initiative to address their situations before the expiration of the corrective deadline on Rabi’ al-Akhir 15, 1448 AH, with the aim of reducing visual distortion and avoiding regulatory procedures.

The Ministry explained that the current stage focuses on raising the level of commitment to the municipal requirements and controls regulating the vacant land sector, by addressing random uses that harm the general appearance of cities.

It showed that the most prominent violations targeted for treatment are the compilation of Transgressionsand improving the quality of the urban environment in various governorates.

She added that Owners’ compliance with the requirements reflects positively on the efficiency of the urban landscape and raises the quality of life, which contributes to enhancing the investment and tourism attractiveness of cities and governorates.

This corrective step comes within a package of comprehensive programs and initiatives implemented by municipal sectors to develop public facilities and urban spaces, in support of the goals of sustainable urban development.
