We will not use force to control Greenland

US President Donald Trump told world leaders gathered in Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday, that no country other than the United States can protect Greenland, and stressed at the beginning of his speech before the World Economic Forum that he would not use force to seize Greenland.

He called for “immediate negotiations” to acquire Greenland, which he described as a large piece of ice that he wanted to prevent opponents from obtaining.

The US President considered that Europe was “not moving in the right direction.” Trump also saw that the United States is the “engine” of the global economy, saying, “When America prospers, the world prospers. And when its conditions worsen, everyone’s conditions worsen.”
