Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed visits the UMEX and SimTEX 2026 exhibitions

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, visited the seventh edition of the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) and Simulation and Training Exhibition (SIMTEX), organized by the ADNEC Group in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and the Tawazun Council for Defense Empowerment, at the ADNEC Center in Abu Dhabi until January 22nd.

During his tour of the exhibition pavilions, His Highness was briefed on the latest innovations displayed by participating companies and institutions in the fields of unmanned systems, artificial intelligence, simulation, training, and future technologies in various civil, commercial and defense sectors.

His Highness visited a number of pavilions of government and private agencies, and major national and international companies participating in the two exhibitions, where he was briefed on the latest technical developments in the field of developing robots, smart control systems, drones, simulation and training solutions, in addition to industrial and commercial applications of artificial intelligence.

During the visit, His Highness was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Court of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. The Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, the Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Mohammed bin Mubarak Fadel Al Mazrouei, the Advisor for Security Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Ghanem Sultan Ahmed Al Suwaidi, the Managing Director and CEO of the ADNEC Group, Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, and the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the UMEX and SimTEX 2026 exhibitions, Brigadier General Mohammed Obaid Al Marshoudi.

This year’s edition witnesses the participation of more than 387 exhibiting companies and institutions, 260 delegations from 39 countries, and an elite group of experts, sector leaders and specialists from around the world, to exchange ideas and strategic visions about the latest scientific developments and future trends in the unmanned systems sector, and the future of artificial intelligence applications and solutions in the commercial and civil sectors and their importance in improving the transportation and logistics system, the energy sector, precision industries, and other vital fields.
