Countries targeted by Iran have the right to protect their sovereignty

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received a phone call from Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Al-Safadi.
The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry stated in a statement on Tuesday that the call witnessed a renewed emphasis on “condemnation of the sinful and ongoing Iranian aggression against the State of Kuwait, Jordan and the countries of the region and the right of the targeted countries to protect their sovereignty and territories.”
The two ministers noted “the solidarity of their countries with each other in the face of Iranian aggression and discussed its effects on the countries of the region and its dangerous repercussions on regional security and stability,” the Kuwait News Agency reported.
The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, confirmed on Monday that his country has the “full and inherent right” to defend its sovereignty and interests, stressing that the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries is an integral part.
