Sea condition: Light to medium waves reaching wavy towards the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.

Surface winds: northwesterly to westerly at a speed of 20-52 km/hour.
Wave height: from one and a half to two and a half metres, reaching higher than two and a half meters in the central and southern parts.
Sea state: moderate to wavy.
