المملكة: “Al-Ahsa Education” sets Ramadan hours: attendance is nine and the class is 35 minutes

The General Administration of Education in Al-Ahsa Governorate has approved the official school calendar during the holy month of Ramadan for all educational levels, setting nine o’clock in the morning as the time to attend General education students, with the aim of harmonizing the educational journey with the spirituality of the holy month and providing a flexible educational environment suitable for academic achievement.
The Al-Ahsa Education Department reduced the time of the school day in General education schools, kindergartens, and institutes for boys and girls, to be limited to five hours a day, starting on the first day of Ramadan.
Organization of classes
The administration set the actual start time for the first class at nine-fifteen in the morning, to ensure the smooth attendance of male and female students to their schools.
And decided to reduce the time The single classin all schools becomes only thirty-five minutes, ensuring academic concentration and reducing the physical burden.
Continuing Education
With regard to continuing education, the administration directed that school hours for boys’ schools be moved to the evening period, starting at exactly nine o’clock at night.
The administration chose a different time for girls’ continuing education schools, as it was decided that their educational journey would begin at two-fifteen in the afternoon.

The decision to reduce the thirty-five-minute class time also applies to continuing education schools, both for boys and girls, to unify time standards.
