The list detailed the required years of experience, as a bachelor’s degree holder needs experience extending from 6 to less than 11 years to obtain an “advanced” license, and 11 years or more for the rank of “expert”, while master’s and doctorate holders are granted exceptions that reduce the required years of experience to 5 and 4 years, respectively.

Five-year validity period For the license

the amendments established a validity period for the license of five years, starting from the date of issuance or promotion, or from the end date of the calendar year of the most recently passed test in the event of a delay in issuance, in order to precisely adjust the time periods and prevent overlap in dates.

The controls warned against laxity in renewal procedures, as they explicitly stated that failure to renew the license within a period of two years from the date of its expiration automatically turns the application into a “new issue” transaction, which forces the applicant to repeat all procedures and tests from the beginning.

Cases of Professional License Suspension

The Authority stressed the regulatory and ethical aspect, confirming the immediate suspension of the professional license in the event of a decision to remove the employee from practicing the profession, or When it is proven that incorrect data was submitted to obtain it, in order to protect the integrity of the educational institution.

The regulations preserved the rights of applicants by allowing grievances within 60 days of the issuance of the results before specialized and impartial committees. It also included transitional provisions that approved the results of previous “competence” tests for issuing licenses until the end of 2028 AD.

The authority concluded its controls with a touch of appreciation for the initiators, granting those who obtained professional licenses one year before the implementation of these amendments.
