"Sharjah real estate" and"Pioneers" They strengthen the UAE real estate brokerage initiative

Sharjah, January 22 / WAM / The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Sharjah Foundation to support pioneering projects “Ruwad” with the aim of enabling citizens to practice real estate brokerage activity according to the highest standards and enhancing real estate rehabilitation and education programs as part of the emirate’s efforts to enhance citizens’ participation in the real estate market and open new job horizons for them.

The signing of the memorandum was attended by His Excellency Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, His Excellency Hamad Al Mahmoud, Chairman of the Sharjah Economic Development Department, Engineer Raymond Khuzami, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Thuraya Real Estate Group, and a number of representatives from both parties, while it was signed by His Excellency Abdulaziz Rashid Al Saleh, Director of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, and Fatima Hassan Al Ali, acting director of the “Ruwad” Foundation.

Under the memorandum, “Ruwad” will promote the Emirati Real Estate Brokerage Initiative, support training programs for citizens wishing to join, and receive applications from entrepreneurs related to practicing real estate brokerage activity and refer them to the Real Estate Registration Department.

The Real Estate Registration Department will organize specialized training programs to qualify citizens in real estate brokerage activity and grant initial approval for issuing licenses to practice the activity.

His Excellency Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi said: The memorandum of cooperation comes within the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Executive Council, aimed at revitalizing the real estate market and opening new horizons for citizens in the emirate and enabling them to participate effectively in various economic sectors.

He added: Cooperation with the “Ruwad” Foundation also reflects the keenness of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department to translate this vision into practical steps through advanced qualification and training programs that give citizens the opportunity to practice real estate brokerage activity with high efficiency and create a new generation of qualified brokers to support the growth of the sector according to the best standards, which opens new business horizons and enhances a safe and sustainable investment environment that serves investors and citizens alike.

For his part, His Excellency Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud said: This memorandum represents a qualitative step in the process of empowering national competencies and enhancing the presence of national entrepreneurs in the real estate brokerage sector in the Emirate of Sharjah. Accordingly, we will work jointly and through the Emirati Real Estate Brokerage Initiative to provide a supportive business environment that combines professional and legislative qualifications and opportunities to practice activity in accordance with approved best practices.

He added that the “Ruwad” Foundation, within the framework of this memorandum and within the initiative plan, will organize specialized training programs to qualify entrepreneurs to practice real estate brokerage activity and provide the necessary support to meet regulatory requirements, in addition to coordinating to grant initial approvals to obtain licenses to practice the activity.
