Distinctive results for the UAE Knights in… "International sail" To jump hurdles

Abu Dhabi, January 22 / WAM / UAE riders achieved outstanding results in the second international championship competition, “Two-Star Category”, within the ninth edition of the Al Sheraa International Show Jumping Championship. The competition took place according to the specifications of the two stages, with 130 cm hurdles, within the “Silver Round”, and was topped in the second stage by the rider Salem Ahmed Al Suwaidi with the mare “Annie S of the Lowland”, recording 26.80 seconds.
The Syrian jockey Osama Al-Zubaibi and the horse “First Queen” won the “Golden Round” competition award in the two-star category, with the specifications of the two stages, with hurdles 140 cm high, achieving 26.80 seconds, and the Emirati riders succeeded in winning second and third places, through the jockey Abdullah Hamad Al-Karbi, with the horse “N’N Counter Attack MQ”, with a time of 27.19 seconds, and the jockey Muhammad Ghanem Al-Hajri with the mare “Lililonka”. STW”, recording 27.65 seconds.
The rider, Abdullah Hamad Al-Karbi, won the first place award in the first international competition for the youth category aged 25 years and under, out of 3 competitions taking place in the sailing championship, and came with the specifications of the two special stages, with hurdles 135 cm high, sponsored by the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy for Women’s Sports, and 31 male and female riders from 13 countries competed in it.
Al-Karbi achieved the best time in the second stage with the mare “Georgina Z”, which reached 41.21 seconds, and the Emirati horsewoman Iman Al-Saffar came second, with the mare “Jad HBE”, recording 41.49 seconds.
The silver round competition in the two-star category, with the specifications of one round, with 130 cm hurdles, witnessed the victory of the jockey Mohammed Hamad Al-Karbi, with the horse “Macho BH”, in the lead, recording 53.15 seconds, and the jockey Salem Ahmed Al-Suwaidi came second with the horse “Annie S of the Lowlands Z”, with a competing time of 53.91 seconds.
The main field again hosted the International Championship for Young Jumping Horses, with the participation of 14 horses aged 6 years (Classic), with the specifications of one round over the 130 cm hurdles, topped by the mare “Prestige” led by the jockey Arhama Saif Al Awani, with a time of 61.67 seconds. Second place also went to the horses of the Emirates, and was won by the mare “SS Pina Colada” led by the jockey Mabkhout Awaidah Al Karbi, recording 62.71 seconds.
The second competition was held for young horses aged 7 years (Classic), with one-round specifications, over 135 cm hurdles, and 28 horses competed in it. The victory went to the mare “Selena 235” from the Sharjah Equestrian Club, led by the jockey Salem Ahmed Al Suwaidi, recording 58.89 seconds.
The Syrian rider, Osama Al-Zubaibi, achieved a “double” on the horse “First Queen,” by topping the Golden Round competition in the two-star category, with one-round specifications, with hurdles 140 cm high, recording 57.39 seconds.
