41 horses participate in the 17th trial race at Meydan Racecourse

Dubai, January 22 / WAM / 41 purebred Arabian and hybrid horses participated in the seventeenth trial race last evening, consisting of 5 rounds over a distance of 1,000 metres, at the Meydan Track in Dubai. The Emirates Horse Racing Authority said that 32 Arabian horses participated in 4 rounds, including 17 horses that had never participated in the races, and 15 that participated in them.

She noted that a round was held for purebred crossbred horses, during which 9 horses competed, including 3 that had not previously participated in the races, in addition to 6 horses that had previously been present in the races.

Rashid Al Balushi, a member of the Authority’s Supervisors Committee, confirmed that the trial races have reached the seventeenth stage, according to technical and organizational indicators, and are subject to continuous evaluation by the competent committees in the Authority, to ensure the achievement of their objectives and the continuation of their organization until the end of the season, their diversity in various tracks, and the approval of the conditions required for the participation of riders and horses.
