"Abu Dhabi Heritage" Promote awareness of the importance of heritage in "Al Dhafra Book"

Al Dhafra, 23 January / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority continues its participation in the activities of the sixth session of the Al Dhafra Book Festival 2026, which is held in Madinat Zayed Public Park in the Al Dhafra region, organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center. The authority’s pavilion witnessed a large turnout from visitors to the festival from different age groups, who viewed the authority’s various publications and learned about its cognitive content that reflects the depth and richness of the Emirati cultural heritage.
The Authority provided the public with the opportunity to view a group of its specialized publications in the fields of heritage, literature and history, in addition to a number of poetry collections and writings that enrich the local and Arab library and reflect the diversity of knowledge production related to Emirati heritage.
Among the publications that the Authority displays in its pavilion are the book “Historical Names of Places in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi” written by Ali Ahmed Al Kindi Al Murar, the book “The Cultural Role of the Pearl Trade in the Emirates” written by Halima Al Naqbi, and the Scientific Encyclopedia of Nabati Poetry by Dr. Ghassan Al Hassan. The Authority also displays a group of poetry collections, including “The Diwan of the Millionaire’s Poet,” Part Eleven, and “The Diwan of Ateej Bin Rawda,” edited and presented by Muayyad Al Shaibani.
The Authority’s participation in the Al Dhafra Book Festival comes within its vision to support culture and reading, and enhance awareness of the importance of heritage as an essential component of national identity, in addition to contributing to the dissemination of specialized studies and research in the fields of heritage and literature, and expanding the circle of interest in local knowledge production.
