Al Ain City Municipality: Integrated community programs and initiatives

Al Ain, January 23 / WAM / The Al Ain City Municipality, represented by the Community Services Department, implemented integrated community programs and initiatives during the year 2025 that contributed to enhancing the quality of life and consolidating the principles of community cohesion in the Al Ain region, in line with the UAE’s directions for the year 2025, “the Year of Community,” and enhancing the role of government agencies in serving the community.

The initiatives included the implementation of the Community Services Department in the municipality during the year 2025, 64 community events distributed in various regions of Al Ain, aimed at enhancing community interaction, supporting community and awareness initiatives, and introducing the services provided by the municipality to the beneficiaries of community members in the Al Ain region.

Within the framework of supporting families and community services, the municipality presented a number of initiatives, the most prominent of which is the provision of subsidized food supplies to citizen families, as the number of families registered within the community services system reached 67,193 families, while the number of families benefiting from subsidized food supplies reached 45,275 families during the year 2025.

The municipality provided 498 food items as part of support programs, while continuing to provide free delivery service to senior citizens and people of determination, which contributes to facilitating their access to services and enhancing their quality of life, in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership.

The channels for providing services were varied to facilitate the provision of these services to customers, as 6,002 families benefited through the “Tamm” platform, 30,042 families through the municipality’s customer service centers, and 33,169 families through the branches of the Al Ain Cooperative Society, in addition to 2,185 families through requests for the food delivery service supported by the municipality.

It also implemented a group of offers on food items, in addition to seasonal initiatives supporting families, which reflects the efficiency of community facilities management and its ability to meet the needs of the local community.

The municipality affirmed its commitment to continuing to develop the community services system, expanding the scope of initiatives that support families, and strengthening community partnerships during the year 2026, in line with the goals of sustainability and quality of life, and embodying the state’s vision of supporting the family, in conjunction with declaring 2026 the “Year of the Family.”
