Dubai Police participates in "SIKKA Arts and Design Festival"
Dubai, January 23 / WAM / Dubai Police is participating in the 14th edition of the SIKKA Arts and Design Festival, organized by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, from January 23 until next February 1, in the historic Shindagha neighbourhood.
Participation comes within the framework of enhancing its societal and cultural presence, and supporting the arts and creativity, in line with its trends in interacting with society and consolidating the concepts of national identity and belonging.
Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of the General Department of Community Happiness, said that the participation of the Dubai Police General Command in the festival stems from its belief in the importance of the cultural and creative role in building bridges of communication with society, stressing that this institutional presence in artistic and cultural forums translates the strategic directions of Dubai Police in supporting the arts as a tool for community awareness and cultural expression.
He explained that the initiatives presented within the participation aim to highlight the human and civilized face of the police, and reflect an approach that combines security and creativity.
