The Emirates Writers and Writers Union participates in the Cairo International Book Fair 2026

Cairo, January 24 / WAM / The Emirates Writers and Writers Union is participating in the 57th session of the Cairo International Book Fair 2026, which is currently hosted by the Egypt Exhibition Center, with a special pavilion that includes all of its publications published in the period from 1986 to 2025, numbering 331 diverse publications, including 63 books on stories, 25 books on novels, and 83 books on poetry.

The Union’s publications include 5 books in children’s literature and two books in young people’s literature. As for translated works, they include 19 books, and 10 books in translations, in addition to 5 publications in the field of heritage and arts and 4 theatrical texts. There are 31 books in articles and one book in travel literature, in addition to 59 literary studies, 5 books in social studies, 8 books in historical studies and other books, and issues of various magazines issued by the Union.

Sheikha Al Jabri, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors who represents the Emirates Writers and Authors Union at the exhibition, said, “The Union’s participation in the Cairo International Book Fair, which is considered one of the most important Arab book fairs, comes within the framework of its efforts to introduce the Emirati cultural achievement, highlight the experiences of its writers and writers, and the qualitative movement and continuous development that the cultural arena in the Emirates is witnessing, and based on its deep belief in the role of culture in building the human being, consolidating the values ​​of enlightenment and knowledge, and supporting literary and intellectual creativity.”
