We reject any efforts aimed at dividing the countries of the region

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi affirmed Egypt’s categorical and decisive rejection of any efforts aimed at dividing the countries of the region or cutting off parts of their lands, and any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land.

During the celebration of the 74th anniversary of Police Day today, Al-Sisi stressed the categorical and decisive rejection of any efforts aimed at dividing the countries of the region, seizing parts of their lands, or creating militias and entities parallel to the armies and legitimate national institutions, stressing that preserving the unity and sovereignty of states is the basic guarantee for the stability of the region.

Al-Sisi touched on the situation in Gaza, saying that the Sharm El-Sheikh agreement is a testament to Egypt’s efforts regarding Gaza. He stressed that the displacement of the population of Gaza means the displacement of hundreds of thousands to Europe and the West, noting by saying: “We stress the necessity of implementing the Gaza Agreement and rejecting displacement.”

Al-Sisi added that the exit of nearly two and a half million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip practically means the liquidation of the Palestinian cause, warning that this will lead to the exodus of hundreds of thousands towards Europe and Western countries, with major security, economic and social repercussions that no one can bear.
